Volunteer at Nello’s Corner
Nello’s Corner offers ongoing support groups to children, age 4 through high school-age, and their parents/guardians who have experienced the death of an immediate family member. Listed below are the volunteer opportunities within this program.

Group Facilitators (ages 20 and up) assist the staff by working directly with the children in an assigned group. Groups meet in the late afternoon or early evening, every other week, September through June. Facilitators make a one-year commitment for 4 1/2 hours every month. Special Events Volunteers (ages 20 and up) provide extra hands for our yearly Nello’s Corner Family events. These could include picnics or Memory Nights. Our Training Course is required. For more information and dates, see our Volunteer Trainings page.
Helping Hands Volunteers may be called upon to assist in gathering materials or providing homemade snacks for special events such as trainings, Memory Nights, and picnics. No training is required. Email Lois if interested.
