Christina Larkin, Program Coordinator, Group Facilitator

Christina Larkin has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Research Psychology at Saint Joseph’s University.  She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University along with a Certification in Elementary School Counseling.  She continues to attend trainings and workshops to further develop her learning in the area of grief and loss.

Christina originally was interested in bereavement through participation in the professional trainings offered at the Center, which were beneficial in working with grieving children as a school counselor.  After volunteering at the Center for the children’s programs, Christina has been fortunate to join the staff.  The Center has also been fortunate to have Christina, who now serves as the Program Coordinator where she works closely with the Program Director in all aspects of the children and adult programs at the Center.  This includes volunteer recruitment and training along with community outreach.

In addition, Christina currently facilitates children and adult groups for Nello’s Corner as well as our Specialized Support Group Program for adults with varying losses.  She also helps with Camp Millie, which is the Center’s summer program for children.  She enjoys helping those find their way through their individual grief processes.
