Ian Klinger, BA, CFP®, CPA/PFS

Biography

Ian Klinger is a financial advisor, tax strategist, and wealth manager with Liberty Point Advisors, where he works with closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, and families to integrate tax planning, wealth management, and long-term financial strategies. His practice emphasizes building lasting relationships through practical, client-focused advice. 

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), gaining experience in public accounting and establishing his foundation as a Certified Public Accountant. He later transitioned into wealth management, advising clients on complex tax matters, business structuring, and multi-generational wealth planning. 

Ian earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Saint Joseph’s University and is currently pursuing a Master of Taxation at Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law. 

His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Advisors for the Pedro Arrupe Center for Business Ethics at Saint Joseph’s University. He has also served on the University’s National Alumni Board and the Young Professionals Advisory Board for Bethesda Project in Philadelphia. 

Outside of work, Ian is an avid golfer and passionate Philadelphia sports fan, with a particular love for Saint Joseph’s basketball. He lives in Havertown, Pennsylvania with his wife, their two young daughters, and two rescue dogs.
