Strides of Hope 5k Walk/Run:

Join us this spring for our third annual Strides of Hope 5k, helping to raise support and awareness to benefit the Center and the community we serve! Become one of our esteemed sponsors or volunteers, create a team in memory or honor of someone, or register to join the many walkers and runners who find meaning on this inspiring trail.

The Strides of Hope is successful in raising funds for grief support services in our community not only due to the increasing numbers of participants, but also due to the generous contributions of individual and business sponsorships.
Sponsorship packages are available starting at $250 and up to $10,000 for the Presenting Sponsor status. The Strides of Hope does consider in-kind sponsorships if the goods or services offered are budget relieving.

- 7:30 am – Check-In and Race Day Registration opens
- 8:20 am – Kids Warm Up
- 8:30 am – Kids Fun Run (ages 12 and under)
- 8:45 am – Announcements
- 8:55 am – Warm Up
- 9:00 am – 5K Run/Walk starts
- 10:30am – Awards
- 10:45am – Remembrance Ceremony
Race Entry Fees
(DEADLINE TO REGISTER 4/5/2023 11:59pm)
- $35 for virtual and in-person 5K
- $20 for Kids Fun Run
Amenities
All participants guaranteed to receive a t-shirt (if registered by April 1, 2023), refreshments, water stations, and snacks. In addition, kids fun run participants will receive a medal!
Fundraising
The Strides of Hope 5K provides funding for The Center for Loss and Bereavement to support our mission – being a resource of specialized knowledge and professional support to provide meaningful connection and restorative guidance for those impacted by grief.
Participants have the option to fundraise individually or as part of a team.
Individual Fundraising Incentives (totals listed exclude registration fees):
Raise $50, receive a vinyl decal
Raise $100, receive a bracelet
Raise $250, receive a drawstring bag
Raise $500, receive a baseball cap
Team Fundraising Incentives (totals listed are for funds raised above the registration fees):
Raise $1,000, receive a dedication sign along race route
Raise $2,500, custom team flag and baseball hat for all team members
Awards given to top individual fundraiser and top team fundraiser.
*Fundraising deadline to guarantee incentives is April 1, 2023
