What initially drew you to the Center and inspired you to become a member of the Board?
I attended a handful of fundraising events over the years and I got to know the Center, and the people and the impact that it had on the community. When I was asked to serve on the board, it was an easy decision to make.
Share about the role you serve on the board.
I serve on the Relationships and Community Committee and on the Events Committee.
What has been the most meaningful part of being connected to the Center?
The most meaningful part of being connected to the Center has been witnessing the benefit the Center has had on individuals and their families.
What are your hopes for people who come to the Center?
I hope that people who come to the Center find the support that they need.
What are your hopes for the Center?
My hopes for the Center is that it continues to be successful in creating an awareness it the community it serves and continues to provide the specialized service that so many depend upon.
What words would you use to describe the Center?
Special and specialized. Special People – specialized service.
What would you want to say to our donors and volunteers?
Thank you – you ARE making a difference in the lives of others.
