Here we have another example of how to “flip the script” from some of our Nello’s Corner group members! When asking a grieving child how their person died, it is important to ask in a caring way rather than purely from a place of personal curiosity. Some children may be grateful to have the opportunity to tell part of their story, while others may not feel comfortable sharing. Either reaction is normal, and it is our responsibility to meet each child where they are!
